User management and user invitation
User management and user invitation resources
Manage the users of a Netvisor company: send, verify, list and cancel user invitations, and view, edit, change the validity of or remove users' access rights.
The Validation schema column links to the DTD or XSD file that the request message of a POST resource is validated against. A DTD defines the elements, their order and how many times each may occur; an XSD additionally defines data types, maximum lengths and allowed values. A dash (–) means that the resource has no request message (GET resources and POST resources that only take URL parameters) or that no schema is published for it.
Resource | Method | Validation schema | Description |
|---|---|---|---|
POST | Cancel an outstanding user invitation | ||
POST | Set or extend the validity window (ValidFrom / ValidTo) for a user's access to a company | ||
POST | Revoke a user's access to a company | ||
POST | Update a user's role and profile assignments on a company | ||
GET | – | Get a summary of users' roles and profile assignments on a company | |
GET | – | List user invitations with paging and filtering | |
POST | Send an invitation to a new or existing user to access a company | ||
POST | Verify a user invitation after the invitee has authenticated |
XSD files include the shared type definitions in netvisorgeneraltypes.xsd. When you validate messages locally, download it to the same folder as the resource's XSD file.
