Best Practises for HRM Integration
The Netvisor API lets you import data to different stages of the payroll process. When you plan a new integration, choose the resource that best fits your use case.
Choose a resource
What you import | Resource |
|---|---|
Working hours and absences |
|
Benefits handled per payroll period |
|
Travel expense reports |
|
Payslips created in another system |
|
Salary payment data only |
|
Import working hours workday.nv
Use this resource to import working hour entries and absences. Use it when hours are recorded in external software, but payroll is calculated in Netvisor.
The imported working hours move to the Netvisor payroll process automatically.
Import payroll period collector entries payrollperiodcollector.nv
Use this resource to import benefits that are handled per payroll period, for example the number of meal allowances in a payroll period. Use it when benefits are managed in an external system, but the benefits are paid in Netvisor.
The imported data moves to the Netvisor payroll process automatically.
Import travel expense reports tripexpense.nv
Use this resource when travel expense reports are created in an external system, but you import them to Netvisor for payment and bookkeeping.
If you do not process travel expense reports in Netvisor and only need them in bookkeeping, import a voucher with accounting.nv instead.
Import payslips payrollpaycheckbatch.nv
Use this resource when payslips are created in an external system, but salaries are paid from Netvisor. You can send the earnings payment reports from Netvisor to the Incomes Register.
If you plan to complete or otherwise edit the imported salary data in Netvisor, use the individual resources described above instead: workday.nv, payrollperiodcollector.nv and tripexpense.nv.
Import external salary payment data payrollexternalsalarypayment.nv
Use this resource when payroll is calculated in another system and only the salaries are paid from Netvisor. You do not need to import payslips to Netvisor at all.
Import the payroll voucher separately with accounting.nv.
